- The project for PPMC, a subsidiary of NNPC for the rehabilitation of 7.4 kilometers of 16" petroleum products pipeline, comprised: mobilizing equipment including boats, barges and other pipeline laying equipment; procuring 2,500 meters of 16" coated pipeline; cutting 4,400 meters of welded concrete pipe located at Akute, Imore\Ilashe, Igegun Island, including transportation to Ijeododo and Arepo\Imagbon then stringing and re-welding, including pulling and floating operations; cutting defective pipeline segments 7.4 km long at seven different locations along the ROW; installing new sections; NDT inspection; cathodic protection; tie-ins; trenching/excavation works and site reinstatement.
