Albert is the Group Vice president for Nigeria and the Area Director for Zakhem International Construction Ltd - Nigeria. He worked with the Group for over 40 years in Africa and the Middle East. His portfolio includes major achievements through different leadership roles in various companies in the Group.

After joining the Group in its Lebanon Headquarters in 1972, he quickly climbed the ladder taking over important roles. In 1977, he was appointed Deputy Construction Manager at Zakhem Engineers SAL - Lebanon. In 1979 he became Project Manager with Zakhem International Construction in Tanzania. He re-joined Zakhem Engineers SAL in 1984 as Vice President of the company in Beirut, Lebanon.

After working for five years in Kenya as Project Director with Zakhem International Construction Ltd, Albert joined the Nigerian operations of the company, where he was promoted from Deputy Project Manager to Project Manager in 1994, and then Project Director in 1995. From 1998 to present, he holds the position of Area Director with the company, in addition to his responsibility as Vice president - Nigeria, with the Zakhem Group.

Albert Zakhem has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Tulsa, USA (1977); In addition to a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut (1974).
