In addition to his role as Vice President - Africa for the Zakhem Group, Ibrahim holds the position of Vice President at Zakhem International Construction Group in Kenya (Africa Division) since 1982.

Based at the Head Office of the Africa Division in Nairobi, he is directly responsible to the President for the implementation and coordination of all projects undertaken by the Group in the African continent.

Ibrahim started his career with the Group in 1965 where he was appointed as Site Engineer with Zakhem Engineers S.A.L. He was responsible for sites in Iraq, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi, where he was involved in major projects.

From 1971 to 1982, he moved to Kenya where he became Director at Zakhem International Construction Company in charge of coordinating projects undertaken by the company as well as the preparation and researching of relevant documentation. He successfully led the implementation of major projects in Kenya.

Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut (1964), in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Detroit Institute of Technology (1971).
